Job description

Our locally owned client based in Palmerston North specialises in revamping, restoring, and renewing vehicle interiors. They offer a range of services for upholstery in cars, caravans, boats, and offer window tinting.

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist / Administrator to join their Palmerston North workshop for an immediate start. You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Managing vehicle appointments alongside the Technician team to optimise efficiency, while allowing an achievable workload.
  • Creating and sending invoices to customers, payroll, using MYOB, conducting bank reconciliations, etc.
  • Providing great customer service over the phone, and in person to build rapport and ensure a great customer experience.
  • Managing a busy phone line alongside other duties.

    This role will be running for one month and may have the potential to become on-going. We are looking for someone for an immediate start, who would be able to jump into this role with little direction.

    The role would be Monday to Friday and paying $23 - $25 per hour depending on experience.

    Skills and Attributes:

    • Previous experience in MYOB, payroll, and bank reconciliations is essential.
    • Capacity to remain calm in periods of high work volumes.
    • Ability to navigate multiple software systems.
    • Close attention to detail.
