Job description

  • Temporary one-month assignment
  • Full time, 40 hours per week
  • $22 – $25 per hour (experience dependant)
  • Gisborne location

We currently have an excellent temporary opportunity for a Team Administrator/receptionist for a small doctor’s office located in Gisborne. This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced administrator who is looking for a short-term opportunity.  This role is customer-facing, fast paced and timeline driven role. We are looking for a candidate who has strong team focus as well as high-level customer service skills.

Day to Day

  • Greeting clients, customers and doctors at reception
  • High-level customer service and internal/external stakeholder engagement
  • Email management and logging of correspondence
  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Finance administration and invoicing
  • Producing weekly and monthly reports
  • Taking payments
  • Using the MS Office Suite at intermediate level and above
  • Diary management

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in these duties as well as a flexible working style and strong initiative. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be resilient, be agile and have respect for doctors and the medical field.
