Join New Zealand’s Award Winning recruitment team! We have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts / Payroll superstar to join our Payroll team and work part-time hours, Monday to Friday, either based in the Bay of Plenty or Christchurch.

Our highly skilled payroll officers work as a team to ensure our temp payroll of around 1800 staff and our client accounts are paid and billed correctly on time, every time, 52 weeks of the year. We use in-house technology, Crystal Payroll and all accounts are produced using Xero accounting.

* You will be part of a team, processing volume billings and or Payroll on a weekly basis
* Ideally you will have will have previous exposure to medium to large volume payroll or accounts processing.
* Ensuring all time sheets are accounted for, reviewed, totalled correctly, signed off and billed correctly
* Data entering and reconciling of weekly payroll into Crystal.
* Working on Xero to produce weekly bills.
* General head office Accounts duties, AP / AR or credit control, auditing as required by management

You will have:
* Solid Payroll and or Accounts Admin experience with strong attention to detail in all that you do.
* Excellent communication on all levels, both written and verbal; there is daily internal and external communications
* Extensive Excel experience is essential
* Experience working with Xero would be beneficial
* High degree of self-motivation and initiative.
* The ability to work well in a team environment and be calm by nature under pressure.
* Trustworthy nature and be a reliable team member.
* The ability to follow strict processes and procedures.
* The ability to handle high volume data entry and meet set time frames and deadlines.
