Accounts Payable officer


Job description

Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable officer to join their team in South East Auckland. This role reports to the AP Team Leader, you would be working within a team environment and supporting the AP function processing monthly invoices and internal expenses. Attention to detail and ability to identify errors is paramount.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly reconciliation and ensure proper notes are recorded on the reconciliations.
  • Weekly and monthly payment runs are done on time.
  • Handling queries and follow up with internal and external customers.
  • Reimbursement of expenses claims submitted by staff


Key Requirements

  • Demonstrated accounts payable experience 3+ years within a corporate organisation
  • Intermediate to Advanced level data entry and Ms Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail and focusses on accuracy
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Good time management
