Accounts Payable Officer


Job description

This centrally based well established firm is looking for an experienced and adaptable accounts payable officer to be a part of their close-knit team on a temporary basis. You will be working with the aim of managing the accounting processes and supporting the team.

In this role, your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Managing the high volume of invoices that come through daily
  • Calculation and preparation of monthly journals
  • Maintaining fixed assets register
  • Following up on outstanding accounts
  • Tracking and monitoring payments
  • Bank reconciliation End to End

What we are looking for:

  • Proven track record of 2 years of AP experience
  • Ability to keep up with a high volume of invoices,
  • Experience with paying out subcontractors
  • Be flexible, yet focused
  • Proficiency using Xero or MYOB
