Job description

Our client is a Kiwi success story, they develop infrastructure – Civil infrastructure, Land Development, etc to name a few. They are looking for an all-rounder accounts assistant to support their finance team. This role will have you processing high volumes of invoices, preparing and processing client and subcontract claims, updating and maintaining reports (financial and non-financial) and reconciling accounts.

Key responsibilities would be:

  • End to end Accounts Payable including purchase order admin, invoice processing and payment runs.
  • Maintenance of bank account statement analysis & reconciliation
  • Account reconciliation with pretty cash and credit cards
  • Updating Cash Flow with daily bank account balance
  • Processing daily & monthly Creditors invoices
  • Assisting with ad hoc monthly reports
  • Other ad-hoc tasks and projects as required 

Ideally, you would have worked as an Accounts Assistant managed purchase orders. You would be familiar with EXONET and MYOB

  • 2 + years full time accounting experience 
  • A Degree in Accounting or Business
  • Advanced Excel skills  
  • Experience with Exonet would be preferred. 
  • Experience in a high-volume role and a strong attention to detail. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
