Accounting Technician


Job description

Come and work for a very well-respected family practice and business consultancy firm! You will be working in a close-knit team under two Chartered accountants assisting across a range of accounting duties for multiple clients.

Ideally you will have:
* 1-2+ years’ experience working in an Accounts role
* Experience in transactional accounts
* Preferable experience in Xero, but training can be provided
* Ability to prioritise work and a desire to learn
* Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
* Personable and able to engage and work with clients
* Excellent attention to detail
* Proficiency in the completion of GST Returns, Employer Deduction Returns, Financial Statements (to draft stage) and Income Tax Returns (to draft stage).
