About the role:

The role is responsible for supporting the ANZ Financial Controller and Country Finance Manager and the New Zealand business, in financial and management accounting services including payroll, billing and rebate calculation, and reporting as required.


Primary responsibilities include:

  • Meeting financial reporting obligations including the Monthly Financial Letter, Annual Report and related audit processes including internal and external
  • Reporting and supporting manager with commercial analysis (preparing weekly and monthly internal reporting, and client reporting)
  • Manage tax compliance, including overseas requirements by preparing al tax returns (including PAYE, withholding tax, FBT, GST, provisional tax and income tax)
  • Assist accounts payable functions ensuring timely and regular payment
  • Calculate and validate regular rebates for key customers and prepare tailor made monthly reports for specific clients

    Qualifications and experience:

    • 5+ years' Financial Accounting or Audit experience
      • Understanding and experience in preparing GAAP and/or IRFS financial statements
        • Complex reconciliation experience
          • Financial systems - Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains, SAP
            • Understanding of New Zealand Company Law
