Job description

The key responsibilities of this role include the following:

* Preparation of the monthly financial accounts for the company

* Assisting in developing budget and implementing them

* Entering supplier invoices in the main software

* Maintaining accounts payable in the accounting software.

* Reporting on profit/loss margins for separate departments

* Work on cash flow forecast based on organisation income and expenditure

* Calculation of GST based on receipts and payments

* Maintaining internal control systems of the company

* Bank and supplier reconciliations

* Liaising with IRD for all day to day issues

* Effectively manage debtors and creditors of the company

* Performing General ledger reconciliations

* Assisting with Stock and Inventory Control

* Responsible for staff payroll and salary

* Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by all staff and report on any discrepancies to management

* Attend to office administration duties as and when required
