Our client is a leader in the building supplies space and are seeking a sales achiever who has experience with a range of key stakeholders within the building sector.

You will be responsible for calling on a range of builders to promote a range of building supplies and services. The ability to promote and develop the business as well as introducing new ranges across the business are all part of the role. You will be given a ledger to manage along with needing to develop new business.  

The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

    • Previous exposure in sales within the building sector
    • Sales background within the builder sector - even trade counter sales
    • Experience working for a Merchant is advantageous
    • Proven experience upselling and cross selling 
    • Confident yet grounded and humble approach
    • Experience measuring, quoting and pricing jobs
    • A passion for driving new business
    • Adaptable and open to change
    • A team player who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves
    • A resilient nature
    • Live on North Shore ideally
    • Longevity in roles you've had
