Utilise your knowledge in the building sector - high end building products and hardware

Our client is an established and innovative organisation within the building sector who are looking for an Auckland based sales professional to join their nationwide team to sell a range of high end products and hardware.

The job:

  • To manage and grow an existing territory across Auckland
  • Building and maintaining relationships with kitchen and door manufacturers, plumbers, carpenters and joiners 
  • Carry out a small portion of merchandising
  • Product Training
  • Attend Trade Shows and other industry and client events

 The successful candidate:

  • Minimum 3 years external sales experience in NZ within the building sector
  • Existing relationships within the building channels is essential
  • Experience selling on value not price
  • Self managing and driven
  • Solid sales achievements that you can articulate
  • Be passionate about Business Development within new and existing clients
  • Genuine and down to earth nature
  • Smartly presented and professional
  • Natural technical aptitude technical
