Our client is a leading force in the engineering product and service space. They are seeking an Account Manager on the Extractive side to maintain and expand relationships within the quarry and mining sector. engineering

The role:

  • To manage a territory - lower half of North Island and South Island including Pacific Islands
  • Manage a portfolio of Accounts including Key Accounts
  • Provide Product and technical advice
  • Carry out quotes and follow up service
  • Being involved in tenders
  • Carry out presentations
  • Liaise on an ongoing basis with internal stakeholders ie operations team
  • Carry out a range of reporting

The successful candidate:

  • Quarry/Mining or Asphalt industry experience ideally or relevant to these channels
  • Proven technical sales solutions background
  • Resilient and self motivated
  • Tender management experience
  • Confident presenter
  • Ability to travel
  • Solid networking skills and ability to deal up and down the ladder
  • NZ Citizen or resident only
