Our client is a supplier of industrial equipment, compressors, construction and mining equipment, and they are seeking a technical extraordinaire to drive sales for their national rental division.

They are well known for their sustainability and their energy efficiency, value for money and innovation.

There is national travel in this role but you are able to manage your own call cycle. Initially whilst you get to meet and learn about your customers they travel will be significant then after a few months it will reduce down.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Ideally air compressor background or experience with Generators
• A technical nous along with strong commercial acumen 
• Solution sales experience
• Proven success with business development
• Technical/Mechanical/Electrical qualification is advantageous
• Experience within the industrial or capital equipment sector
• Managing customers and developing relationships
• Experience in sales/rental within the capital equipment sector is appealing
• NZ Resident or Citizen only

A competitive base of up to $90,000 plus uncapped commission, bonuses, pension and health benefits plus car make up this package.
