Our client, a leading supplier in the building industry are seeking a hands on Account Manager who is strongly customer centric to join their busy branch to manage predominately residential building accounts.  

 The job:

  • Manage and nurture existing relationships 80% New Business Development 20%
  • Carry out quotes from beginning of process all the way through
  • Coordinate and organise jobs
  • Ongoing liaison with production staff
  • Build strong relationships with a variety of channels within the building sector
  • Manage a North shore territory

The successful candidate:

  • Building industry experience essential
  • Solid customer service experience and a proven relationship builder
  • Coordination of projects an advantage
  • Experience selling a range of building products
  • Ability to wear many hats and possess resilience
  • Strong communication and the ability to get on with people up and down the ladder
  • Will be passionate about working in a fast paced arena
  • Will live in the North Shore region or possibly West
