Our engineering client has expertise in a variety of operations, primarily in the sawmill industry.

The majority of their work is involved in sawmilling equipment with other engineering aspects included.

They are looking for someone to join their busy team as a mechanical draughtsperson with proven 3D Autocad knowledge.

This role has two components to it:

• Autocad mechanical draughtsperson - Ideally have 2 to 3 years with proven 3D experience using Autodesk Inventor.

  The ideal candidate will have the ability to help create that plan drawn on a piece of paper and convert it into a 3D presentation for the client

  • Plasma cutting -

    They are keen to have someone take ownership of their plasma cutting machine.

    Ideally you will have proven knowledge of plasma cutting using Nesting software - being involved in the physical side, working with the machine and how to operate the machine from the drawings provided

    You will thrive on variety and enjoy a challenge.

    This is a permanent opportunity for the right person.

    To be considered you need to be:

    • Proven knowledge of plasma cutting technology
    • Proven Inventor 3D drawing skillset as outlined
    • Some welding experience predominately MIG - with references reflecting your skill set
    • Keen to learn new skills and technology
    • Pass a pre employment drug screen
    • Able to think outside the square - using initiative
