Our client is a leading regional food company across Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific. They manufacture, package, distribute, market and sell a wide range of food products.

An opportunity has presented itself for someone to join their leadership team as the 2IC in their Penrose based location. It is a hands-on role, so counterbalance/reach licenses are essential.

This is a 3-6 month contract but could lead towards other roles with the company if you have the right attitude.

To be successful, you will need to:

• Be physically fit as some heavy lifting may be involved
• Have an eye for detail
• Have a high regard for Health & Safety
• Have SAP experience
• Have Team Leadership or Supervisory experience
• Come from a Logistics and Warehousing background
• Be computer literate

  The ideal candidate will also need to be a fast learner and very hands on. You will be reporting directly to the Site Manager and will have overall control of the site in their absence.
  
  Experience in FOOD MANUFACTURING would be advantageous but not essential. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 10am - 6pm but you may be required to work additional hours as well so please, BE FLEXIBLE.
  
  You will also need to:

  • Disclose any criminal convictions that you might have
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Have 2x forms of ID (DL, PP, Birth Cert)
  • Have at least 2x contactable referees
